Coloring Apron
Mom stopped over after work last night and brought Eliana this coloring apron that holds her crayons and markers as well as some PJs and shoes. Ellie was in heaven.

Buckles, buckles, and more buckles
These pics are actually from Saturday when it was much warmer. We went to Octoberfest downtown Appleton and walked around. It was a beautiful day. Ben had to help set up and take down Mt. Olive's booth, but he was able to spend part of the afternoon with us. Ellie had her snack in the living room with us after he nap and she didn't stop playing with the buckles on her seat until it was time for her bath.

Wonderful Day and Game
Ben and I spent some time downtown Milwaukee and ate at Mo's Irish Pub before the game.
We ran into a college friend of mine, her husband and son as they were waiting outside the stadium. Aaron took a picture for us outside the stadium. We've got another college friend/roommate get together scheduled for early November, but it was so nice to see them!
And of course we couldn't have seen a better game. With Ryan Braun hitting a walkoff grand slam! I've never heard Miller Park so loud. I must say that these are in my opinion the best seats we've had yet.
We also stopped at the Northwestern Publishing House and got Eliana the rest of her DVD set. I put a DVD in for her after diaper study this morning as she ate her morning snack. You can plainly see she was into it. A huge thanks to my mom who watched Eliana all day..... and late into the night as we didn't get home until 12:30AM. I don't know what we'd do without mom!

Going Away
Ben and I are headed to Milwaukee for the day. Mom is taking care of Ellie for us while we spend some time together and go to the Brewer game.
Here are a few pictures from when Ellie wasn't feeling 100%, she's also such a daddy's girl.

Packer Loss
The Packers lost on Sunday night, but Ellie had fun (although she only got to see a little of the game because it was bedtime).

Fun Daddy
Eliana is so blessed to have such a fun daddy. They were reading books before bathtime and this is how they transitioned from book to book.

Happy Birthday Ben!
Today was Ben's birthday and unfortunately he had a couple of meetings this morning and was gone for lunch as well (he usually shares lunch with us). This morning I made him blueberry muffins to take to his pastor's meeting and then Ellie and I made him some Chocolate Irish Cream Happy Birthday Lollipops to take to his Youth Discipleship meeting over lunch. He was able to spend the afternoon with us. We watched the Brewer game and then took a walk and let Ellie play at a different park. He also finally got to go to his real estate meeting tonight for the first time in several months (softball was always on Thursday nights too). Now I'm just hoping he gets home in time to share some of the ice cream cake I got him from Dairy Queen. It's never good to leave a pregnant woman home alone with an ice cream cake....yummm.
Ellie "helped" me make the chocolate pops...notice the spoon going towards her mouth as her mouth is wide open :)
