More Walking

Eliana has been taking more and more steps. She likes to try to get from one thing to another by walking to it. I caught Eliana walking some more, this time on the photo camera.

Walking is hard work for a little girl, better stop for a drink.

Ellie Had a Checkup

I took Eliana to see the nurse at the Dr.'s office for a weight and length check. This has been scheduled since her 9 month appt. She is now back at 15lbs 12 ounces and she is 27 1/2 inches long. This is less than she weighed at her 9 month visit. Being sick really took a toll on her.

Fall Pictures

Julie came over and took some fall pictures for us. (They're actually for our Christmas Cards).

"NO Fear" Ellie

Does her nickname need any explaination?

Yes she crawled up into it and stood up....on her own.

That little smirk means she knows she's "something else" (another nickname she has)

10 MONTHS!

This cool little girl turned 10 Months October 25th!

Ellie is Walking!!!

Yes, Eliana took her first steps!! As I mentioned, Eliana had been sick. After I tried to feed her on Wednesday (Oct 24th) I set her down in front of me. She walked 3 steps to her exersaucer. She has been taking steps toward things ever since. She especially likes walking to Ben or myself. Her balance gets better and better. She was 10 months on Thursday! (Oct. 25th).

SICK! :(

Eliana ended up getting very ill beginning Sunday night. She had a terrible stomach bug. I ended up taking her to the Dr. on Monday night because I was worried she was getting dehydrated. She is such a little peanut to begin with. She started feeling a little better Tuesday and better yet on Wednesday. Except now I, the mom, am sick. Yuck.

Playing with Daddy

Her hair decided to shoot straight up in the air.

Two Teeth

I finally got a good picture of her two little crooked teeth!

Little Girl Jacket

I love Eliana's little pink jacket.

Walking in the Fall

I took Eliana for a walk and I had to put her bunting on from last year (3-6 months and it still fits-we have such a peanut) because it was a little chilly and she doesn't always keep the blankets on her.

NOT Happy

Ben and I recently placed a gate between the living room and our entry way. This is so that we can prevent her from climbing up (and then falling down) the stairs. At first she thought the gate was fun, but now she knows it's keeping her away from where she wants to play!

One of My Favorite

This is one of my favorite outfits on Eliana. It's from her great grandma Shannon

Pumpkin Time

That's Eliana with her very first pumpkin.....and yes, she's still eating the apple!
She loved taking the top off of her pumpkin.

Daddy was the one who carved the pumkins for us. Thank You Ben. :)

More Apple Picking

Eliana ate the apple we gave her while we were picking all the way home.....
She even kept eating it while I tried to give her a bath. She absolutely loved it. I had to take it away eventually, the apple was the whole reason she needed a bath!

Apple Picking

Eliana loved going with us to pick apples. I hope it can become something we do every year as a family. It was actually the first time Ben had been apple picking as well.

More Park Fun

On the teeter-totter with Ben.
Her first trip down the slide

For some reason when she's crawling in the grass she feels she has to lift both her arms and legs extra high.

Too Small To Drive

She's so smart she keeps her hands at "10 and 2"

Maybe the seat should be raised?
