Drew's Appt.

Drew's 4 month appt went well. He's happy and healthy and of course showing off his laugh for the nurse practitioner. He's 15 lbs 10 oz and 24 1/2 inches.
His head is about 25%, weight 75%, and length about 50%.

2 1/2 Today!

This morning I asked Eliana who she wants to marry someday. Of course once I got the camera out she didn't tell me the same answer until going through a couple of other answers first.

4 Months

I can't believe little Drew is already 4 months. He has his 4 month check-up tomorrow, this time with the nurse practitioner. I can't wait to see where he's at in his percentages.

You can see the abuse he takes from his dear sister.

Opening Present

Eliana got to help Ben open his Father's Day presents.

Of course she knew all about "daddy's beer".

Butterfly Festival

This morning I took Eliana to the Butterfly festival near our house. She had a great time and at the end of the event got to release her own "painted lady" butterfly. Though she was scared of it at first, she eventually touched it. It was a hit and we'll be sure to do it next year.
She wanted her picture by every butterfly on the path to the park.
Eliana's friend Madeline held her butterfly for a bit.

Eliana patiently waited and watched for her butterfly to fly away.

I'm so glad we got to spend time together at this event, gotta love the 2 year old attitude for the pictures though.

She'll be a hula hoop queen like me soon.
Getting a butterfly tattoo.

Eating her second breakfast.

Making her very own edible butterfly.

Then taking a break to eat it.

Making a tie dye butterfly.

Making a butterfly Father's Day card.

Looking for pennies.

Playing on and in the fire truck.

Swinging

Eliana loves to swing at the playground. She even swings on the "big girl" swings. I really don't think it's possible for her to look like me any more than she already does!

Keel Kousin Kampout

We ended up having the annual campout early this year so we could be sure that Jason and Julie could come. We didn't want it to be too close to the baby's arrival. We had a blast on the boat ride.

It's a long story but this was a gift to Jason and Julie :)

Playing at the park

Eliana loves that the weather is finally getting nicer.

She really has no fear when it comes to climbing things.

Finally Closed!!!!

We finally closed on the house we built in Greenville. August 1, 2006 we first bought the land for the house and the house was finished in the spring of 2007. We had renters in the house shortly after. The idea of the investment was a rent-to-own home. So, yesterday we finally closed on the house and the renters are now officially the owners. It took a little longer than we were initially planning, but it all worked out in the end. Needless to say Ben was especially excited to close on our investment deal. We also have a house in Kaukauna that we're doing the same thing with.

Yet another investment deal. This house we'll be closing on in July. Ben has a business in which he works with a builder and they fix homes and sell them. The business sold it's last home that was on Brewster St. in Appleton only a couple months ago.
This home is about 2 1/2 times larger than the Brewster St. home.
