Building For Kids (Children's Museum)

Today Ben and I took Eliana to the Children's Museum. Ellie of course had a great time and was pretty tired at bedtime.
One of Ellie's favorite spots was of course the book area.

Sitting with the Zebra. That's a squishy golfball in her mouth.

Building with blocks.
Watching the construction crane.
Being strapped in by daddy in the fire truck.

Playing in the dress-up area.Going down the slide.

Checking out the birds.
Playing in the water, you can tell in some of the other pictures that the little raincoat didn't completely prevent her from getting wet.
Putting the balls in the baskets.....
...and then waiting for them to pop out of the ceiling.

Baby Jacob

Baby Jacob spent his first night at home last night. We stopped by Tracey and Chad's to give them some pizza and get our baby fix. Not only did Ben get to hold Jacob for the first time, but Ellie got to meet him too. She wanted to share her water with him. We look forward to spending more time with them soon and we pray they get some rest.

Pizza

Ben, Ellie and I went to Hungry Howie's for their grand opening. Ellie had her first piece of pizza and she definetly loved it. We don't give her things like pizza too often.

Of course she got a balloon too!

Shake It

I sing a song with Ellie that I've already blogged called "Shake your Sillies Out". There was a song on the radio that came on where they sing, "shake, shake, shake, shake, shake it". It's happened before and Ellie has danced to it, this time we pulled into the garage and I got the camera out of my purse and taped her "shaking it".

Missing the Sunny Days

These pictures were actually from a couple days ago when it was 88 degrees, sunny, and humid. Today was nothing of the sort, but that's WI for you. It rained all day and I don't think we made it even to 60 degrees.

She's got a bubble going!

Playing with Chalk

After supper we play with chalk pretty regularly. As you can tell she likes it.

I cringed as I saw her little bottom sitting in the orange chalk. Not a good time to be wearing white shorts.
The reason we play with chalk after supper is because it's right before bathtime!

Rain Jacket

I got Eliana this rain jacket and today when we were doing the wash she saw it after I had hung it up to dry. Now, it's all she wants to wear. Keep in mind that it's been in the high 80s here lately. It's a good thing we have air conditioning.

Babies..Babies...Babies

I got to hold my nephew Jacob for the first time on Sunday. I was so excited and trying to hold back my tears (pregnancy doesn't help)! He's doing really well as you can see. He's gaining weight and we pray he comes home to Tracey and Chad very soon.

I also saw Amber and Sawyer. Sawyer is doing well, he's in his isolette now and had his IV's removed. He's got a little bit of jaundice and once that clears he will be able to move out of the isolette and into a bassinet. We also pray that he will be able to go home soon. Amber is hoping he'll be in there for about a week more (at the most).

More Pictures

Julie and Tyler.

My handsome brother and his beautiful wife.

Alex and Ryan, my youngest cousins have grown. Ryan left for college the next day at Stevens Point (WI). He's going to major in International Business and Spanish and will be going to Spain in a few short months. :(
Little Cierra enjoying her cake. My cousin Tyler's little girl.
Cousin Justin with his niece Thalia.
Grandma blows out her candles. Sorry about the blur, you can tell she was in motion to blow out her candles.

Grandma's Surprise Party

My grandma Shannon turned 75 on July 25th this year. We threw a surprise party for her on this past Saturday. As you can tell she was quite surprised.

With her great grandkids.
