New Car

Yes, we bought a new Honda Odyssey Mini Van. Although I didn't want a mini-van, this is definately the best mini-van we could have gotten. My favorite part is the power sliding doors. Who knew it could be so convenient.
Grandma Liana got Eliana this car. She LOVES it. I'll post a video of her playing with it too. She gets in and says "bye bye". It's caused a few tears when it's time to leave the house.

Corn on the cob

Ellie had her first try at corn on the cob. She is now a pro.

El Azteca

We gave Eliana her first taste of real authentic Mexican food (not my tacos, fajitas or enchiladas...the real deal). She loved the music and colors of El Azteca. I do however remember why we don't go out to eat with her very often.....it's alot of work! Eliana is like her dad, everything has to be "just so".

Do you think she's around the camera much?

Mmmmm, burrito.
I'm full, it's nap time.

Better Day

Every day we have to show Eliana the blog. She sits on the edge of the couch, usually next to me, but this time I was video taping her. She was so upset because the Bay Beach video wasn't playing right away, but once it started she had all eyes on herself.

On another note, I'm beginning to feel better and hope to be close to 100% tomorrow (at least the 100% pregnant version of myself). I took Eliana for a walk today and Ben and I took her to the playground after dinner. Ben and I also booked a suite at the Irish hotel (Saint Brendan's Inn) in Green Bay for our anniversary in two weeks. I can't believe we'll be married for 4 years soon.

Strep....Yuck

I just got back from the Dr's office about an hour ago and I found out I have strep throat. I must say it's been a long time since I've had it. I was worried I was overreacting to the sore throat, but as the practitioner said you don't know unless you have the test done. I should be feeling better (and not contagious) in the next 48 hours. I am just praying I haven't already given it to Eliana or Ben.

Little Eliana decided she was going to leave the house. She had her purse/backpack and was trying to put on Ben's shoes. I guess the Noah from her Little People set in her left hand was going to be her GPS. If he can navigate through the flood (with God) he can take her through the neighborhood and of course to grandma's house.

She didn't get too far when she realized she can't turn the doorknob.

Something New!

Watch this first! :)

We are expecting another baby Berger February 21st. So far the pregnancy has been going alright with much more nausea than I had with Eliana. We'll keep you updated. As of now we're 10 1/2 weeks pregnant.

"I don't need help"

She wanted to put her pajamas on all by herself and didn't want my help at all. I've felt the terrible twos sneaking up on us. She's been a little defiant lately, which is not like her at all.

Successful Cookout

The weather was great the food was wonderful and the company was the best. Here I am with my college roommates (Em you're considered our roomy).
Our get-togethers have never been the same since we've had our little ones.

Sorry Jason and Julie, you ended up not making it into the picture. We're glad you were able to come after camping :)
Owen wanted nothing more than to sit in the chair with Eliana, but Ellie was a busy lady and had places to go.

Keel Kousin Kampout (aka KKK)

We survived the third annual Keel Kousin Kampout. We hung out Friday into Saturday morning, slept for a few hours then got on the pontoon boat Saturday morning.

Captain Justin drove us to Oshkosh and we ate at Fratello's.
Then we stopped at a popular swimming spot, I think we were on Lake Poygan.

We had a great time. Now we're getting ready for a cookout at our house. Whew!
