Throwback--Dec 2006

Seeing as Eliana's first birthday is rapidly approaching I thought I would post some old (along with the new) photos. I did not start the blog until Eliana was already a few months old, so here are photos that many have not seen yet.

Tree Fun

Just a couple of pictures of us with Eliana by the tree. If you'll notice in both pictures she's holding a snowman ornament. Being that she was born on Christmas Day, the nurses gave us this snowman ornament when we were in the hospital.

Master Walker

Eliana has mastered getting up to walking on her own. She used to go to something she could pull up on and take off from there, but now she gets started wherever she pleases.

You can see the determintion on her little face.

Would you believe the jeans she is wearing are still 3-6 months?!?! She goes for her one year appt. December 26th, so we'll see what she weighs.

Trouble

She found the church bulletin in her diaper bag.

Then she decided it would be fun to pull the animals off her mobile. We have video monitor and I saw her going to the mobile and I whispered in her door, "no no Eliana", she quickly layed back down and pretended she was sleeping. I caught her pulling on the mobile again and had to take a few pics before taking it off of her crib.

"The Look"

Ben has always given me a hard time about a "look" that I give him. He says I tilt my head to the side and look at him from the corner of my eyes. I gave Ellie the look and this is what I got!

Also, Ellie is getting a 3rd tooth, Hooray! It's on the top and in the left side of her mouth. This isn't typically the next tooth to come in, but we'll take what we can get.

Play Date

Eliana and I visited our friends Melissa and Evan for an afternoon play date. Ellie really hasn't been around too many other kids her age, so it was so fun to see her interacting with Evan and Evan interacting with her.

More St. Nick

Ellie also got a St. Nick stocking from us.

Welcome Baby Anna

Sweet baby Anna is 3 weeks old! She was very alert the entire time.

This is my old college roommate and friend Jill along with her husband Mike. What a beautiful couple and of course gorgeous baby.

Lexi

Ellie loves her Lexi the Lion from our friends, Drew and Jenny Retzlaff.
