"Jasemon"

I think Eliana is getting tired of us asking her to say the name of her newest cousin Jameson. It's just so cute.

Welcome Baby Sieg!

We welcomed baby Jameson Lee Sieg at 12:19pm on July 13th (2 weeks early). He was 6lbs 90z, 18 in, and couldn't be cuter.

Julie went to the hospital at about 3am July 13th with liver pain. She was pre-eclamptic, so they knew the baby was going to be born soon! Julie's labor was induced by a cervical gel, then shortly after her water was broken. However, her next set of labwork came back which showed her platelet level had dropped significantly. So, she was scheduled for a C-section at noon. Because of her low platelets, she couldn't have a spinal so she went under general anesthesia. Jason wasn't allowed to be in the surgery, he waited patiently for the pediatrician to come in to tell him Jameson was born!

While it wasn't the way they were intending to have Jameson and was quite stressful, they are just happy to have him here. Mom and baby are doing well.

Needless to say we think he's adorable and now Drew has two boy cousins born in the same year to get in trouble with!

Boppy

Whenever I can't find the boppy when I want to feed Drew, I know where to find it. Today, she was feeding Elmo.

Potty Faces

I just had to do it. I know Eliana is probably going to be embarrassed some day that I put this on the blog, but the faces she makes are hilarious. Eliana has been accident free for 2 weeks! We recently changed her reward system in that she only gets a treat when she poops on the potty, therefore every time she goes to the bathroom she tries to go #2.

Museum

Just a few pics from the last time I took Eliana and Drew to the Children's Museum.

The 4th of July

We spent the 4th at Little Green Lake with Ben's family. Eliana had fun playing on the playground and at the beach.

Of course she loved the ice cream her grandpa bought for her too!

Bumbo Seat

Poor Drew can't enjoy his bumbo seat in peace. If Eliana's not on top of him when he's in the seat, she's sitting in the seat herself.

Night Out

I was able to have my first night out with my girlfriends from college on Monday night. This was the first time I've been "out" since Drew's been born!

Dusting

Eliana loves to help me clean. This time when it came to dusting she pulled her washer and dryer from the dining room (AKA toyroom) to the living room so she could reach higher while dusting the TV.
