Imagine my surprise when I saw this after I got out of the bathroom.

This has got to be my favorite picture of Eliana with Ben.

Eliana was 8 months on the 25th. I took her outside for some photos.

As is tradition we always seek out an Irish Pub and Restaurant on vacation. This time we selected Fado's Irish Pub. Here Eliana was the star of the Pub when she had her first sip of daddy's pint of Guinness..... Brilliant!

The famous bean statue in Millenium Park was a big hit for Eliana. She' s never seen a mirror that big :)

We had to resort to the fountains in the park behind our condo for Eliana to play in since the condo pool was being worked on. She didn't seem to mind and screamed when we took her out.

About a week and a half ago we took our family vacation to Chicago. Eliana did very well and saw many things. We went to Millenium Park, Michigan Avenue, Shedd Aquarium, Navy Pier, and the Lincoln Park Zoo. The only unpleasant part of the trip was that there was an air and water show going on over the weekend and Eliana did not like the planes. They were very loud even for me and they terrified her. Our trip to Navy Pier ended up being very short because of this. All in all it was an amazing first Family Trip.

Secret Society

I informed Eliana of the fact she is now a member of the Dame secret society. After taking it all in, she posed for some pictures. I tried to tell her "it's alright to show your face, being a Dame will cause her no future embarrassment". She doesn't know what she's in for. :)

Eliana still has not gotten the hang of using the sippy cup, it's more for play. Aunt Tracey let Ellie try some of her soda. I'm not so sure she got anything from that either. Just another fun thing to play with.
