Sibling Love

2 Weeks

Drew is two weeks already and is growing by leaps and bounds. He's now 8lbs 6ozs and has an itty bitty head just like his sister. His length was probably not measured right in the hospital because he was measured today as being 20 1/2 in and we know he didn't shrink. He slept for a 5 hour stretch last night which was absolutely wonderful!

Daddy's Girl

Eliana has become even more of a daddy's girl. I have been unable to play with her as actively as Ben does, when I'm feeding Drew we do things like read books or put together her puzzles. Ben gets to chase her around the house and wrestle with her. He's been taking her to Monkey Joe's to let her run around too. No wonder she's such a daddy's girl.

Drew's Baptism

Ben was able to baptize Drew last night at the Saturday night service. He got just as choked up doing his baptism as he did Eliana's.

Another Call

I haven't blogged about Ben's latest call because I wanted to let the word get out first from Ben. Sunday before Drew was born Ben received yet another call, this time to be a full time pastor at St. Marcus in inner city Milwaukee. This is a call to a church that is a bit more contemporary, yet remains in the Word. You can check out their website at http://www.stmarcus.org/. This is a challenging call as Ben likes all that the call entails and the direction and vision of the church, yet the Fox Cities is where both of us have our families and is a great place for us to raise our family. We are planning to take a trip down to Milwaukee to check it out. Please keep us in your prayers as we weigh where Ben can best use his abilities to serve our Lord.

One Week Ago....today

One week ago today we took our little man home.

One Week

Wow, how much our lives have changed in just one week. We took Drew to the Dr. for his one week check, he did well and is almost back up to his birth weight at 7lbs 11oz.

More Pictures

Our computers have been having trouble communicating lately and I only have access to certain pics at the moment. Things have been going well. Drew was cluster feeding from 9pm until 3am the first two nights, but now is in a better pattern and during the night has been eating only every 4 hours. Even though we've been getting more sleep, it's still tough keeping up with an energetic two year old. Eliana has been really good with Drew. She can't seem to give him enough hugs and kisses.

This will be life for awhile!
