Our Silly Little Girl

Our little girl is something else. She still continues to take off her shoes and socks when she's in the car. I watch her in the little mirror we have and she just gets the biggest grin when she takes them off. While we're driving I ask her what happened and she just laughs.

I can't believe it

I don't know what happened, I guess time just got away from me, I can't believe I haven't blogged in 4 days. I'll make up for it now though. I have been feeling quite a bit better and last night I was on the treadmill, maybe I haven't blogged because I'm trying to catch up on everything now.

Although we didn't get to spend much time with Eliana, we were always thinking of her this weekend. We knew she was in good hands with grandma. I can't say how much it means to have a mom so close by who loves us so very much. Thanks so much for all your help mom.

Busy Busy Busy

This weekend was a whirlwind. I worked on Friday, came home and went to a financial conference that was for pastors and their wives. Through the conference we stayed the night at an area hotel. Saturday morning the conference continued, but I have still been feeling pretty miserable and thankfully the conference was being held at Mt. Olive, so I walked home to take a nap for a couple of hours. After the conference we went to my old college roommate and friend's wedding in Neenah. We had a blast. I'm so happy for the two of them. Jamie and Brian are so great together and I know Brian will treat Jamie right.

Me with my college friends and roommates, Emily, Jill, Jen, Jamie, and me. Can you believe, except for Jamie who's got some catching up to do, we all had babies within 11 months of each other? It's amazing how we've all changed, especially how our get togethers have changed. Instead of boring clothes we're borrowing each other's pack n play.
Just a random picture I took of Brian and Jamie dancing. The average person would say it's too dark, but I think it fits the mood, it's supposed to be lowly lit.

I was looking through the camera's memory card and I found this little clip. Thought you'd enjoy seeing our little girl with two bodies. When you look at her from behind she has one little body and when you look at her from the side she has one big tummy.

Our Teeny Little Girl

I know these may be hard to see, but they're Eliana's growth charts. It has every Dr. visit on it since she was born. As you can tell, we have a light weight. She was only 18lbs 12 oz. which is less than 5% Her length was up to 31in (about 60%), although it really is difficult to get an accurate height measurement. Her head is right in the middle.

I also saw the Dr. and I have a sinus infection. I have been up the last 3 nights on the couch coughing away. I could really use a good nights sleep, I feel like we have a newborn in the house again with such little sleep.

Ben and I have a conference for church to attend this weekend as well as my old college roommate's wedding. We have alot going on so it would be great to feel better. (I also work tomorrow too)

More Clothes

Eliana decided to move all her clothes from the basket to her rocking chair. She stayed occupied doing this for quite some time.

I think Eliana is getting better. She still is not eating a whole lot, but hopefully that will increase again with a little more time. She doesn't have much to lose though, she's such a little peanut. We have her 15 month appt. tomorrow. We were supposed to have it last week, but she had gotten a cold. As for me, I'm still feeling kinda cruddy. If only I could stop coughing and get a good night of sleep.
